How well are these items supposed to interface? Mine seems reasonable but far from perfect. I really don't care that much , just interested.

Only fit one, onto a FG USGI stock and it fit fine. I then swapped it out for a rubber butt plate. I kinda like the rubber one better for hunting, as I have to put the gun down sometimes in the snow, butt first and lean it up against a tree. I'm not sure if the flip up part is bare, untreated steel that will instantly rust.

I've had to dremel out a little from the stock since the norc. butt plate seems to stick out a little deeper into the stock over the USGI ones. It wasn't a big deal and there were no issues aside from that. The trap door latch seems to be a bit beefier.

I have imported stainless steel screws and square nuts that fit into the slot in the butt of the fiberglass stock. This allows you to assemble us gi or norc buttplates to these stocks. you use the lower screw and butt swivel to finish the assembly.

there's no need to "import" screws for the top bolt..... go to revy.
Pitdogboy...... the area under the latch may need to be recessed slightly with a dremel, I didn't do this on your stock as sometimes is not needed. p.m. me if you have any problems.

Hey Thomas, I was just inquiring as it is pretty good but not 'perfect'. I am really not concerned about it but will look into a new screw/bolt as the oem one is stripped. I got it in but getting 'er out might be challenging

the nut is the same as gi in stainless and the screw is stainless and the butt plate fits and "faces up" just like the original.
