Norc & Colt 1911

Here is my new Norinco 1911 next to my Colt. I replaced the MSH, slide catch and grips. The only thing I didn't like about the Norinco was the front sight, it was cheap yellow paint. The rear sights are nice white dots so I am going to scrap out the yellow and fill it in with some White touch up car paint. I had to do that to my NP22 and it has held up going on 4 years.

I find that I prefer the forward tilted slide serrations on the Norc over the totally vertical serrations on the Colt... Looks almost like an extension of the grips... lines up with them way better..

They look better every year. Now if they would send some 9mm versions over they would sell like Asian hotcakes!
