Norc M14 - Op Rod Guide Removal?

In addition to the pain in the a$$ the welded on flash suppressor is, the good folks at Norinco seem to have applied some type of adhesive to the inside of the Operating Rod Guide – essentially, gluing it to the barrel. Is this standard in all Norc’s (maybe its normal for all M1A)???

More importantly, how the heck do you remove the Op Rod Guide when its glued to the barrel???

Heat it with a torch - Tap it with a hammer and punch.
