Newly arrived, Nor M305 both plastic stock, and new Italian wood-stock ones. Anybody have some Canadian Tire money they don't want :)

Don't really need a 3rd one, but damn that stock is nice!

I am ALMOST sorry I picked up the Marstar 22" M305/SKS combo last fall cause the stocks are beautiful! However, I already have it all tightened up, and spring, and spring guide done on it. Also have a USGI flash-hider and USGI front sight to accompany the NOS PB rear sight, and it is sitting in USGI fiberglass stock. And my other is all tight, upgraded and encased in a USGI wood stock. And I was kinda already fighting with myself over NEEDING a Sage Chassis.... Cause you know, gotta have options. Sigh, too many toy's, not enough money :( Alas, I walked away empty handed, hopefully someone goes and buys these before I decide I have to have another.

They showed up recently at one of the Winnipeg locations too. Only standard black synthetic though. Price seemed mildly steep, kind of a toss up whether it's cheaper to buy it in store or mail order and pay the shipping.

Damn it, sometimes i hate living in Toronto. I have yet to walk into a Cdn Tire in and around the GTA that sells anything beyond airguns.

This was in the Canadian Tire on the West side. CT on the east side doesn't have anything for guns. Which is kinda silly, cause with its close proximity to Cabela's if they kept their prices cheap they could take a cut outta the market for sure!

The wood stock ones were gone almost immediately....

Saw one at Gobles in London for $750... and I thought it was some marketing gimmick.

Are the Chinese making these or is an importer in Canada tarting them up with 'Eye'talian wood?

Dunno, but I've never been thrilled with the craftsmanship or metal work of these Norcs. Love the platform, looks bada$$, and then I pick it up and.....ugh.

Not to knock the Norcs ... but I am on the same wavelength EL34. Years ago I wanted a Norc with the idea of pimping it and finally bought a used one off the EE. Then I started running across others and...GAH. At the end of the day it just seemed to be a 3 dressed up as a 9. I sold the Norc off and raided the boys at Prophet River and bought a Springfield and haven't regretted it. Pictures don't tell the story, you have to pick these guns up and handle them to appreciate the differences.

And I suppose, having said all that there are any number of Norc shooters that can hand me my ass if we got into a shooting match. I suppose the upshot of it is that if the Norc gets you shooting - run with it and smile. But it DOES get better with a Springfield.

Canadian Tire stores across Nova Scotia are tooling up to start selling. It's been a long time since any stores here kept firearm inventory. Imagine my shock when I walked in and saw an entire ISLE of firearms, including SKS's and Mosins!

Clayton Park is tooling up to sell and Kingston/Greenwood already is, for those interested!
