who New Brunswick or nearest province can refinish a Norc M4 I just purchased one from a fellow CGNer and can't wait to get to the range :D but in case I don't like teh finish was wondering what recourses I could take to either refinish it or repair the finish.

I think Fabsports sells the special paint to do it yourself, can't think of the name right now. Good gun to try it out on, easy to take a part and it probably look better even if it's your first time.

Fredericton Gunshop does Ceramacoat.

Paint it...I did :D

used brake degreaser with gloves on and just went to town with it. Completely tore it apart and degreased it.

Hung it from my garage roof by its muzzle brake. A bit of rag in the muzzle brake and mag well. Took out the bolt. Gave the body of the rifle, handguards and mount a light coating of speckle stone granite to rough up the look. Let it dry for a good couple hours and gave it some light coats of Krylon Khaki, brown and olive.

Ummmmmmmm that's about it. I did have to scrape of some paint on the handguards to get them to fit properly and front sight and to work the charging handle a few times but otherwise than that was it. Pretty basic.

Let it dry for a few days and took it out. Carefull with wiping the exterior down with cleaning oil as will take off the finish if your too aggresive. Give it a go. If it sucks just spray it down with WD40; wipe it all off and try again.

Have fun and take your time
