Hey guys!

I'm looking to buy an NP28. I already own a Norc 1911 in 45 ACP, and it has issues with conical bullets, so I was wondering if the NP28 would have the same problem... It's a 1911 design (prefers round nose bullets), but it's a wide-body pistol in 9mm, so feeding problems may be different...

What have you experienced?

Thanks!

I have 3 Norc 1911s in 45, plus some other 1911s. All feed 200 gr SWC just fine, once the OAL is adjusted for the gun. OAL may also vary with magazine lip design, too.

No experience with wide model, othe than with Para Ordance, which feeds the SWC just fine.

I have use the 170 gr truncated cone bullets in them all and they feed just fine, too.

maybe you should use 230 grain bullets in your 1911, it was desigen for that, or you may need to have your feed ramp polished

I now use 230 gr RN bullets with my 45 ACP 1911A1 with great success!

I was rather wondering if the NP28 had the same issue with commercially loaded conical bullets in 9mm...
