Hi all,

What radius cut are the grip safety thing? Or is it the original colt cut? By comparing mine to the pics on google, my spider sense tell me its .250.

I think you'll need to be more specific or post a picture with something pointing to the spot you are wondering about. The only thing I can think of that you might be referring to from looking at online pictures would be the curve of the hook on the beavertail. Is that it?
 
cool thanks. i was wondering if i should get the WC drop in or a real .25 grip safety.

I guess the government and the commander has a slight different grip safety then? Because my Sig 1911 carry's grip safety has a different contour altogether and doesnt line up with the np29.
 
Different profiles are not related to whether full or commander size, they are at the whim of the designer and manufacturer. Profiles vary mostly on how "high" the designer wants the hand to fit on the pistol. Look at the variations at Brownells- you'll find at least half a dozen themes.
 
Ya. I saw and thats what confusing the heck out of me.

I may venture down to reliable and have a look thru their collection
