Thinking of buying a Norinco. I used to have a CZ75 and I have a pile of 9mm reload ammo left over. The reloads worked perfectly with my CZ and I was wondering if Norinco's were fussy about the ammo that went through them ?

I'm thinking about the 1911 type for now but if other models work better with reloads I'll glady take the advice.

My 1911C loves reloads. It will swallow hot ones, powderpuff ones, and anything in between with no problems.

In my first loads I made an error and actually loaded some really hot ones. It had some punch to them but no damage. Thank god.

My Norc 1911A-1 has had some issues with my reloads, due entirely to my own mistakes in the reloading process. Wolf bullets (the lead ones from Kingston, not the Russian cartridges) seem to come with a lot of goo on them and they tended to stick a bit when loading/ejecting. I didn't clean my dies often enough and didn't seat the bullet deep enough either. That was with 230 grain LRN. My experience with non-Wolf 200 grain LSWC has been a lot better (and my digital calipers, Lee Factory Crimp die also helped).
