I finally received my screws (thank you Hawktech, excellent service), so here are pictures of my build!

In case anyone's curious, the parts are as follows. Unless otherwise stated, the parts come from Fabsports:

- 6 position stock
- Hogue pistol grip
- Yankee Hill Machine handguard
- Bushnell Trophy red dot (Lebarons)
- 25 round magazines (Tactical Innovations)
- 11.5" barrel (thank you, Nine!)
- New hammer and other internals (thank you, Steyr101!)

Estimates?

- 250$ for the 10/22
- 250$ for the kit
- 250$ for the barrel
- 300$ of additional parts
- 75$ for magazines

All thing's considered, I think it was worth the price for an aesthetically pleasing, non-restricted black rifle with high-cap magazines. It's not an AR15, but damn is it ever fun to shoot! Cheap, too... :)

And that right there sums it up for me why i built mine:)

Thats one evil insane black rifle, nobody could have any reasonable need to own such a evil thing, won't someone please think of the children!!!! My hat tips to you sir.Nice, now you need to add a Yankee Hill Phantom flash suppressor and some rails to the handguard. And don't forget the main reason for building a rifle such as this, sure people will say it's not an AR 15, but remember that an AR 15 is Restricted whereas Ruger 10/22's are Non Restricted and thus can be used as gopher hunters. Thats why I bought a Krinker Plinker kit. To have a black rifle gopher hunter.
