Nordic AR22 owners - Quick question

Is there a thread on this 10/22 add-on?
I am assuming it is much like the Krinker, or is it better/different?

1) How sturdy is the kit? As in, how does it hold together?
2) Does the top part screw onto the bottom part?

1. The pieces feel solid together.
2. The top portion screws into the top of the receiver/action and is held in place by the front/handguard.
