I started off with a new idea and ended up with this.

VQ 16 inch carbon fiber barrel
4 Pos stock
YHM freee float
GG flip up front sight
Colt 4x scope
Removable carry handle

I get bored. I will throw up some more pictures soon. I found my carry handle mouth so now I can put on my 10x40 Bushnell

Is that some kind of spacer between the receiver and the free-float tube or is just part of the tube? I've got about a 1/8" gap between my tube and the receiver I'd like to fill.

How's the balance with the lightweight barrel? PM me if you wanna sell it!

I have a Leapers version of that Colt scope, but it looks like it sits kinda high when mounted on top of a carry handle. I used an ACOG adapter to mount mine to the Nordic rail and it seems about the perfect height for me.

Thanks for the positive comments. The spacer is the lock nut for the YHM free flaot tube. The balance is perfect.
I have about 850 into it right now..lol.I like the colt scope works great. I will post some targets later. I just put on my 10x40 Bushnell and it looks and feels great

Here I was expecting to see a nordic 10/22 build that encorporated actual lego blocks

It's an awesome gun, and my stock 10/22 is very jealous, but still, no blocks.

Juts had it out to the range then the gopher patch. Using yellowjackets easy to the can at the 100meter range. I was shooting gophers between 50-110meters Got 67

man, I need gopher patch.... tin cans just don't do these nordic builds we're doing any justice.

looks great hillbilly! I like the carry handle, I was thinking about that, but didn't do it, I think I'll have to now! I just got a 4x scope that has helped my groups greatly, but I think getting it up a bit might help my neck more

If memory serves me.... it was Magnum research, but i don't see the barrels listed anymore just the entire rifle...

I'm just in the process of building up my Nordic and have a question about your setup.

I guess there's no problems with the front sight and rear carry handle sight lining up at all? I was curious about this as I'm also planning on buying the same removable carry handle. Thanks!

Handle

It actually lines up perfect. I even remove the handle and scope,put it back on and it retained zero I find this set up more accurate than my 20 inch barrel with the houge stock. I will post some target pictures.
