I just bought the last 10/22 available locally.. start to beleave i should have bought another SR22 just for the chassis and the 10/22 parts..
I'll go take a look around CGN to find how to fill export permit or something.
 
why don't you order from Iron Eagle Tactical? They ship to Canada. I got my kit from them, here in 10 days, no customs either.

if you do - note that the handgrip gap filler insert comes with the Nordic set (I ordered an extra one by mistake)

And if you throw in a few farkles like extended mag release etc, it will bump your order into the free shipping category. Totally recommend them.

edit - I think we are doing the same math. Cheaper to build a "SR-22" using regular 10/22+Nordic+spare parts like stocks & grips than buying a SR-22 new.
 
Funny. It says on IET website right under the Nordic ar22 kit. "This item CANOT be shipped outside the US!" Am I reading it wrong? When did you order yours?

oh yeah, I ordered mine about 2 months ago. The only "cannot ship to Canada" message I see is on the Battledyne Mag 3-pack.
