i bought an m305 for $750 direct off importer ( nz they are alot more expensive ) .. cheap black paint job, cheap scope and mount.. sold it on for $2k about a month later .. then bought 2 more
this kind of thing didnt last long as the major retailers got hold of stock and then people started seeing how much they really cost.
so i guess they would only make money for you when there are very few around

For the very last time, M305 is not M14. As a shooter, Yes. As a collectible, forget it.

That is correct. Who wants a poorly made M14 anyway. I would take the better rifle everytime, the M305!

The last shipment is arriving soon. After that no more M305's. You will see the price rise rather quickly I think, at first out of greed and speculation on the owners part, after that supply and demand will see the price increase.

Believe that Polytechs and Norinco's go for aroun $800 in the US. Prices will probably be similar here once people realize the only alternative is to buy a $2000 cast Springfield.
