i'd buy at least one of those, wonder wht they'd cost. probably under a grand, but not by much
Well, if the M305's cost $399 and a JW-103 costs $250-ish, I'd guess these things would go for at least double without optics, so figure $650 to $800. I'd be happy with anything south of $750, but maybe I'm completely off my rocker and pricing like that isn't possible  Marstar? Calling Marstar, come in Marstar...

Edited for wishful thinking

Hey all,
I was curious as to why these aren't being imported?
Norinco12.jpg

I'd get one for sure, would you?

Because tanks aren't rolling down main street, hehe. I want one too. Might have to sell the wifes car to get one though:D I'll take the stuff they stole, Hmmm goes bang, 1/3 the price sign me up!!

One thing to keep in mind, is that it may not be 12.7 x 99 (the 50 BMG round).
It quite likely is the Russian 12.7 x 108 mm round.
It is a bit frustating having a gun and no ammo.
I know, I own a PTRD in 14.5 x 114mm.

SIXTY9SANTA;
The reason they are not being imorted is very simple, they are not making them at this time....
The Norinco site is full of items that are NOT being produced at this time....

Lol, Occam's Razor!! The simplest answer is inevitably the correct one.

Strikes me as a wierd way to run a website though, don't you think? Advertising items you don't produce?

I'd still be interested in one of those 7.62 "Snipping" rifles johnone, whenever they start producing them drop me a line so I can put my name on the order list :D Thanx for your valuable insight into Norinco's wonky-backwards-communist business model! :p

Why would you want the ND86???

Years of selling crap like SKS, M14 knock off and AK clones finance the R&D of the new generation of weapons. Since YOU paid for their R&D, I think YOU are deserved to enjoy the benefits of YOUR OWN R&D money.

Dear Smith & Wesson:

I have been a loyal client of yours for many years and have bought many of your products. I am aware of the fact my purchases have funded your R&D (research and development) for new products for quite some time and that without money from people like me there would be no new products from you.

Since a portion of the purchase price of each firearm I have purchased from you has funded your R&D, I am entitled to benefit from this investment I have made. I therefore demand you send me one (1) brand new Smith & Wesson .500 magnum revolver at no charge. As a matter of fact you may simply send me one of everything new your firm releases from now on.

With tongue firmly in cheek,

- Peter

Not produced until someone with a heavy cheque book comes in the door.

Not every customer needs a certain toy for a given situation but knowing all the toys that COULD be made is helpful.

That's good.
I'd need bottom rail for attaching vertical grip. You need vertical grip for CQB. Right? Then I need Grenade Launcher attached.

I'll take one, but only if I can put light rails and a six-position stock on it

Had a day off and was kinda bored.... might look kinda like this....

I for one refuse to buy crap off Norinco so they can equip their own people with better stuff, if they want to sell me stuff, sell me their TIER 1 stuff, not the crap that they stole or reverse engineered.

And I thought I was alone here.....:)

No, there's plenty of gun snobs on this site. Stick around long enough and you'll run into more sooner or later.

Lol, why is every English document/ad put out by Norinco written by some dope with a rudimentary command of the language. How hard is it to find one person who can write clearly. Even their manuals are gibberish.

I know, it's wicked :D A quote from the Norinco manual for my 12 gauge tactical shotgun;

"YL12-1J6 pump action shootgun has the advantage of elegant shape, high accuracy in firing, safe and reliable operations. with accuracy of close range firing, elegant shape, safe and reliable operations, this compact shotgun is great indoors as well as outdoors."

"...let the stock long screw with disc springs and washer through the hole of the stock be driven into the end of the firing gear support, so as to bind the stock and reciever together. Then put the buttplate on its own place in the stock and drive in the screws."

I love reading the manual, it makes me laugh every time :D

My fav quote on the Norinco site:

"The famous SKS design for reliability and excellent accuracy has now been enhanced with the redesign of the magazine area of the rifle to accept the standard AK magazine."
