Marstar is sold out of these, so there's a good chance a few on here have one. So, what's the story on them? Anything I've read about the ones in the US is mixed, some say they're a good value, some say they're crap. Can the same be said of the ones this side of the border?

I ve had mine for about a year, had it out put some slugs and shot through it and was overall impressed. After some breaking in ,mine has settled down to be a very reliable gun.Mind you I use mine mainly for hunting and not for competition. The canadian version has a longer barrel and does not have the two capability those in cowboy action desire. My only complaint is the finish of the wood which I plan on stripping off and putting on a nice dark walnut stain.

Actually the wood itself is not that bad as its not like the wood that was on the early 97copies, but it has a orange tinge to the finish and wood look a lot better stained dark.
