Is there anyone on here that owns a Norinco made repro of the Winchester 1897 12 Ga (Trench Gun)?
I am potentialy looking to buy one but am hesitant because of mixed reviews.
In all fairness most of the mixed reviews come from ignorant American "Chi Comm" bashers who have probably never even laid hands on one
Any actual reviews or personal experiences with said shotgun would be appreciated.

I don't own the Trench Gun, but I do own a Norinco 97-1 (Remington 870 riot gun copy), Norinco 213 (Tokarev TT33 in 9mm copy), and Norinco M305S (a knockoff of the M14) and other than a bit rougher finish than the originals, I have nothing bad to say about any of them. They perform flawlessy and are very reliable and accurate as well.
I'd say go for it and buy one IMO.

I own a Norinco Trench shotgun and it functions flawlesly. I have put about 450-500 rnds through it shooting skeet. A neet scatter gun and it fits in to WW2 collecting, If thats your idea.
I would not shoot an original 97 trench gun they are worth way to much.

I think I'm going to pick up the Norinco.
I have heard from people that actualy have shot it now and it seems that (like most Norinco products) other than the shiny aspects, they function flawlessly and are solidly built.
Maybe one day I will be able to afford all the fancy, over-paid union worker made American guns I would love to get my hands on :D
Now, to track one down!
