Norinco 1911 40 cal???

Does anyone know if the People’s Republic ever made one in 40 S&W. Would be fun to make one in 10mm bubba

SAM in the Phillippines made the Omega, a rather nice 1911 in 40S&W. Wolverine still lists them on their site although they show as out of stock. Currently they list at $719.99 which puts them beyond the Norinco price range but about 4-5 years ago Wolverine blew them out at less than $400 which made them a steal. My guess is they were not big sellers. i have one and like it a lot. It was a great gun for the money.

darkinternational. I seem to remember him saying that the mags were specific and not compatible with other Norcs, so 10mm might not fit.

The Dark's were double stack and took Para mags, don't think para ever made any 10mm double stack?
