i recently bought one and was wondering what accories would fit? would any of the standard 1911 accories be transferable?

Pretty much anything designed for a 1911 will fit just fine.

You may have to do minor (or sometimes major) fitting to get parts to fit. Some you can probably do yourself while others should be left to a gunsmith.

It's easier to tell you what won't fit: the grip screw bushings. (not the screws themselves, just the bushings they screw into.) Anything else will fit as easily (or not) as any other brand.

compensator kits, and pretty much any taticle upgrade that catches my interest.

How about painting it red. Its the Chi-com favourite colour.

Most anything that could be fitted to a 1911A1 could be fitted to a Norinco.
