Norinco 1911 A1C MAG sticks

Hello There,

I just picked up my first Norinco and I am having an interesting MAG problem. I am using factory Mags that came with the rinco and it has had the Armco trigger mod.

The Mags will load and release easy until the action has been cycled at least once. The slide will lock back after last round fired but then the Mag wont release. When I pull it out, as it is stuck pretty good, the slide releases.

Some times when I load an empty mag into the rinco and pull the slide back it does not stay open.

Any thoughts

Jimmy, I'll bring some Wilson mags to work tomorrow, throw the asian mags into the scap metal bin by the smoking area

You are right those OEM Mags suck. The follower was too small and sliding over and catching on the slide release catch. The follower would then snag on the catch and when I pulled it out would move the slide release and allow the slide to return home. Major pain in the Butt.
