i just purchased the police model and would like to know if it eats all ammo, or some better than others.

how does it perform with winchester white box?

Mine for some reason like's the cheap CCI Blazzer factory ammo. @ 7m I can shoot out a 3" circle or even make smiley faces!
:D
My favorite handgun to tinker with by far!

I had an un-Armco'ed 1911 C that shot everything, but loved Fiocchi 230 JHP - worked for me :D . Generally, if the OAL of the cartridge is correct it'll feed. Sometimes with 200 LSWC you might have to adjust the length so that the nose and the shoulder work together, but that's no big deal.

Red cases and red bullets.

That reverse-engineered Chi-com junk only eats red bullets and powder. Jam city too.
You will find that when you pass the 1000 round mark the gun will start turning red, consistenly jamming, and that Chi-com barrel will warp.
Do yourself a favour and get rid of it. There are many Chi-com supporters in Canada...

eesh....lol

Do they feed hollow points or Semi-wadcutters, when bone stock, or do they need a polishing for that? I think hatman either forgot a smiley, or hasn't gotten enough love from the moderators lately, either way.

Mine fed both, actually my current one (Armco tuned - highly recomended) has fed about 4,500 rounds and it's still chugging along, not having turned red, green, or yellow. If it ever jams, I'll post it here.

I purposely bought boxes of American Eagle, S&B, Blazer, Winchester, and Federal, all in 230 grain IIRC, just to see if my Norc 1911 liked anything best. It ate it all, cleaned the plate, and asked for seconds :D

Accuracy wise I'm still too much of a noob pistol shooter to compare between the factory loads, although I did get labelled "drop dead accurate" by Westicle whilst shooting AE, so it's my go-to cartridge of choice (it's also the cheapest at $24/box :p)
