Just wondering if I buy a double stack Norinco 1911 (NP-30) can I replace the grips or would I be stuck with the ugly plastic once? What grips will fit?

Really? hmm... that's convinient :) I'm guessing those are pannels only not the wraparoud once?

PS: what do you think of the gun? any reliability issus? I'm thinking of getting one.

I have slim grips on mine. I wanted to keep the grip dimensions as they were originally.

Have qny of you guys handled a Para p1445 or 40 ?
is the Norc larger or smaller gripped ?(better or worse ?)
Hows the quality of the mags ?
Thanks

No other mags available for the double stack norks, they are proprietary. Someone on here modified some other gun mag to work though, try a search.

I don't have other mags to compare the quality with so can not coment other than to say I have had no problems with the single mag that I have. I have two more coming along with the Nork 1911-A1 I have ordered.

The only downside to the NP30 that I can think of is the cost of the mags, $35each. I don't know of any other mags that will fit.

Thanks,

I've never handled one, so a bit qurious about the size of the grip; how does it compare to other guns say P226, 92FS or of course single stach 1911?

you can check at armco

you should contact gunner at armco he has alot of expirience with norks
