wait.. so are we "suppose" to call the CFC to have them finish the transfer? Or does calling them just speed up the process a little.
called up the BC. cfo office , got bounced to NB. nice lady there said they are helping out the bc office as they are 5 weeks behind and she pushed thru my transfer's from the 15th may
and said she would be faxing the ok to canada ammo today!![]()
Should I be peeved at getting one of these .45s with a cracked grip and a chip in the slide? Or should I just chalk this one up to "you get what you pay for"? I'm trying to post a picture but I'm not sure I remember how...

Ordered April 29, sent to CFC May 23, shipped May31. Still faster than it took for the transfer of my private-sale AR back in Feb. No complaints here. Now I can't wait dor my Fab Defence grips from Isreal...its gonna be sweet!
I called the cfo to check on my transfer today (started May 8) and the lady I talked to approved it while I was on the phone with her and emailed the transfer notice. I used extension 9530 for the BC cfo office. I'm not sure we're supposed to call and bug them, but it seems to light a fire under them when you do.

How do you get it approved over the phone ? They told me it is not possible...
Hmm, if I say mine is for my dad for Fathers Day, will it make it to him faster? This is actually somewhat true; it is for him. #3959184 - just saying...
I really like this pistol cause its pretty much a exact clone of a WW1 era 1911 with the curved main spring housing and short trigger .. Just need some nice wood grips now.
I guess this is the wrong time to mention that I just received package # 3......
I ordered on April 23, received those in 3 weeks.
Ordered #3 on April 30th, Received June 3rd....
