same story here and when I used the site Paul got to me asap and it turned out I did have a problem with my address I entered and that's what was holding mine up.

just took this thing to the range. i love it! that norinco ammo is diiiiiirty though! but this pistol is really good! i just wish i had bought nicer spare mags. i purchased the cheapy colts from providence and they fail to keep the slide open when empty and then actually jam in the gun and have to be ripped out, but if i slide lock and then put these mags in they maintain slide lock and eject very easily! eventually one of them was used enough that it would lock the slide on empty and eject just fine. Guess i have to break them in??

other reviews on the gun, its smooth cycling, no fail to fire, no fail to feed or extract. this things nice! i would like better sights on it though.

a note about the norinco ammo, i found more than a handful of the empty brass casings weren't perfectly round on the opening after they had been ejected. some seemed to have flat spots and some sort of crimped openings. i am going to assume its because the brass casings aren't really all that great and are softer than what I'm used to seeing on the usual 9mm i typically fire more often?

Has anyone tried this Hogue knock-off from DX.com? Seems like it could be a decent deal for $13.

I have not tried these grips but I found the real Hogue grips on Amazon.ca for 25 and they fit and feel like a dream!

Purchased on May 7th, and the 1911 arrived today. Pistol's great.
100% happy with Canada Ammo. . . as usual. Thanks guys !
Unfortunately, good old Canpar seems to have lost the ammo.
Tracking the package says it hasn't left Vancouver yet?
I spoke to customer service around noon today and they are looking into where it may be.
My apologies if this is a dumb question, but has anyone else had this happen?
I have read several posts about Canpar blunders. Eeesh
I will be calling them back in the morning

On the assumption that they're busy... I suspect that they get the transfer doc, put it on top of the pile of transfer docs, and it takes 2 days to work their way through all the orders that are awaiting shipment ahead of it - leading to shipping within 48 hours.

It takes time to package the gun, label stuff, prepare packing sheets, and get the stuff picked up. So... The probably are shipping "once they get the transfer" but after they work their way through the queue, which must continue to grow...

Just got my shipping notice tonight! The wait is finally (almost) over (ordered April 24). Someone came to the door today but I wasn't able to answer in time - hopefully I didn't miss delivery of it...

Just got my shipping notice about an hour ago as well so CanadaAmmo is working late nights again. You can check your Canpar tracking number to see if you missed the delivery.

Transfer sent to local CFO. Got a call from them this morning. Apparently my range membership ran out June 1! DDDDOOOOOOOOH! Won't do transfer without a membership? Oh well, taking care of it today...

Don't get too impressed, it likely just means they know how to program the send email function to work late at night so they don't tie up their computers during working hours.

No, we aren't that fancy. It means Paul was up until 3am again.

lol, then I apologize profusely, what dedication, love it. Great deal CanAm, waiting to see if you can offer a similar deal in a 9mm + ammo combo or even better, a combo including a CQ-A or something similar in a non-restricted, THAT would be awesome. My two deliveries are now in the hands of CanPar, one may even arrive today, yippee.
