ordered mine earlier today at around noon. can't wait to have it go through. fingers crossed it won't take too long. it'll be my first centerfire pistol. By the sounds of it though I should go look for some grips. Anyone know if the rubber grips from canadaammo are any good? theres no pictures of them on the site but the price looks right.

A third combo! Nope! not greedy :) I was contemplating getting a third combo as well but then the .223 ammo deal surfaced.....

True, without ammo these hunks of iron are just really poor anchors or really good paperweights! That's why the 1000 rounds of reloadable ammo is so nice!

Man, I just found out about that 5.56 deal from Can Am. Oh well, I'm still happy with my new Norc 1911. I ordered it last Tuesday, shipment confirmed Wednesday, called the CFO on Friday, it shipped that afternoon, and I picked it up after work yesterday (Monday). The fastest I've ever gotten a pistol :)

Got mine too! Ordered Saturday, July 6th. Update e-mail Monday, July 8th with cc receipt. Update e-mail July 9th to say tranfer initiated. update July 11th to say package was shipped.

Landed at my door here in ON July 16th only 10 days (6 business days) after I hit the "buy" button. Great deal, fast shipping, good communication trail... and I got free targets, a free copy of Calibre magazine and a little plastic AR for my 4 year old son. Happy, happy, happy! :cool:

Already have a COUPLE thousand little persuaders! And the Norincos are fine!

One better than the other, (one had a fouling barrel bushing and recoil spring plug) but DARN! I'm wanting

to "save" the ones I already have and get another for a "project" gun. When will I learn!!!

Just took mine apart, for the first time a 1911 ever, that was a chore, watched a bunch of youtube videos but they were not great, anyone know a good one? She is together again and cleaned up!! Range early tomorrow!!
Hey KarlB, I am making a pact with myself that if there are any left by Sept. 1rst then I will have a third one. Helps me hold off and something to look forward to!
 
I'm trying to resist my second, I too would like to save one and have a project gun as well. Just to learn all the little things on (pretty much a noob), and have something I really like when I'm done.
 
OK, Bobdbldr!! I will take strength from your resolution. Really, TWO is enough!! One to shoot, and one to modify/play with.

So I will hold off until September (NOT THAT FAR, IS IT!!!) and if there are any left in this offer then I may just jump in yet again!

That will give me time to get my club membership processed and hopefully some serious shooting done. Wish I could direct you to a

good 1911 Disassembly/reassembly video, but I don't know of one. I've done all of my 1911 maintenance counting on blind luck and

ignorance. (J/K!!!) I've detail stripped and tuned quite a few 1911s and they really aren't all that imposing. Have fun!!! (And be safe!)

Got mine *incredibly* quick. Like, seriously less than a week from order, to my door, and that's in Ontario! Great job CanadaAmmo. Now one question, my left grip was cracked, what's the policy on that now? I'm not terribly averse to getting aftermarket grips, but is CanadaAmmo replacing them?
 
Thanks CanadaAmmo, took exactly one week to get my order! Now just need figure out how to clean the gun and wait for my ATT which has taken longer than the order...
