Finally got mine to the range last night. brought my G21 along for a comparison. The cheap 1911 out shot my glock at 5 meters, tighter groups and a bit less recoil. had 2 ftf issues on the first two mags and that was the only issue, as i shot it kept getting better. I will be placing another order today mainly to refresh the ammo, but why pass on this deal when its still offered.
 
Seeing that they have a deal for 10% off your entire order right now, I just ordered two more. I called in to see if it would be possible to get consecutive serial numbers, and was told that they still have lots of them in stock. I'm thinking that parkerizing one might be a good idea.

I was going to parkerize mine too. Do you plan to do it yourself or do you know a local shop that does it? Midwayusa sells a kit foor about $60
 
Ughh, I finally broke down and bought one, do I really want one or like the 1911,,,no,, but at that price its hard to say no. Plus I ended up getting my t97 rail for free thanks to sharknado!!

I might try one of the homebrew solutions that I found on here somewhere. One guy had a solution that looked like it worked pretty good and the parts came out with a nice dark colour, as opposed to the grey/green that a lot of parkerizing solutions give. I can't remember the exact solution, but I did a search and found it.

Here is the thread I was looking at. I probably won't get time to do anything with it any time soon. I think I will probably try it on some scrap steel before I sandblast a perfectly good gun though.
Oh and the mention of the sale was on their facebook page. Any gun + any ammo + any accessory and get 10% off this week. I called yesterday and was told that the combo counts as gun and ammo.

Thanks a million, I couldn't find that thread through the search, but the informatiomn in there is invaluable. I'm going to try it out sometime soon.

As far as the 10% off is concerned, you can pick up the 1911 deal as the Gun + Ammo, then you just ahve to grab a Dlask mag or two and that's your accessory.

10% of a purchase like that isn't too bad....damn, should have waited a month, haha!

Supposedly it happensm hen they manually proccess your order. I might have screwed up though, I paid with EMT instead of using a credit card. I guess they will have to refund the 10% difference later. It was talked about in a thread in their section of the forum, as well as on their facebook page.

Oh mannn this realllllly looks like it needs to go in my safe hahaa problem is I don't know if I'll ever get to use it if my lady friend kills me first :s

I just got my Order Status update. They have the invoice printed out to the full amount. But Just above the bold printed Products Ordered. The full discounted 10% number is printed. I just checked my Visa to confirm but not posted yet?? It is 10% on the entire price including taxes. Thanks CA!!

got mine today. She feels alright! came with a spare set of rubber grips that I threw on right away, since they feel better than the cheap plastic ones. This is my first handgun. I'm going to be shooting it very soon.

for anyone in eastern Ontario wondering how long it takes, I ordered mine on the 5th and received it on the 13th. That's 8 days all in! and the 5th was a holiday! My package also arrived 3 days early, which I was kind of impressed with.
 
Just got confirmation! A full 10% off the entire bill. Including taxes . So I just saved $171.23 on top of their great prices. Plus free shipping???? Or is it free?????
