Almost seven months - that was a good run.

How many do we figure were sold - the 5000 someone guessed early on?

I called them a couple months ago about something else and asked how many they had gotten, and was told about 2500. That was in september, and the guy I talked to, said they still had about 500 left then.

I'm sure there are guys out there sitting on anywhere from five to a dozen unopened boxes of ammo and guns.
Maybe they'll show up on EE. Just received mine.:dancingbanana:
It's my first .45 so I'm interested in trying it out this weekend.

There's been a steady stream of them on EE pretty much since the start of the sale, haha!

Welcome to the rful world of .45acp :)

Haven't been to the range yet, but am loving the feel of my first 1911. VERY satisfied with CanadaAmmo.
'Norinco 45 and two full mags - baby that's all I need' ;)

I just received my second one .Thank you Canada Ammo .I think this one going to stay in its sealed package for now. Happy, Happy, Happy.

They have over 1100 pieces in stock as of right now...

At a rate of 50 guns per week this deal could last 22 more weeks, or nearly 6 months

They have more combos in stock than this thread has posts, if every post in this thread was a gun purchase they would be nearly sold out.

I just wanted to quote my post from May 12th 2013
I predicted that they would sell out in 6 months, which would make the sell out date Nov 12th 2013

Nov 25th was the first post noting that they were sold out.

Damn I had a good guess!

You win the secret CAnAM prize! Spend $200CDN on their website and get free shipping on your entire order! Congratulations! Good guess btw!

Thanks, just got back from the range yesterday where I tried out the .45. Very nice, with hardly any kick to it compared to 9mm.
Had trouble limiting myself to the rounds I had allocated (went over by almost a box) -- it was so much fun!
I would totally convert to .45 if it weren't so expensive compared to 9mm.

I bought one of these norcs a little while back. Cleaned it up, brought it to the range. Racked my first round in but it wouldn't rack in all the way. The range officer had a try but had the same issue. So he gave me some of his gun oil to try and I bought some snap caps to put through it.

Thoroughly cleaned it today and racked some snap caps through it. It still sometimes doesn't rack in all the way, I can see that the extractor is not catching. Even when it does catch it usually does not eject when I rack the slide again. AND the last round either gets stuck or stove pipes. I did this over a dozen times and it seem in 8 rounds (8,7,6 FTE) , (5,4,3,2 eject perfect) (1 Stovepipe)

Has anyone had a similar issue? I figure I may need a new extractor, but it seems like there's something else going on. I'm a newb, if anyone can steer me somewhere for this issue that would be great. I hear guys saying good things about these pistols, but after this issue, I'd be happy going out and paying a grand for something dependable.

I had some problem at first with mine, round wouldn't chamber quite right when ''racking'' the slide for the first round. Fixed itself after 50rnds or soo.

For the ejection problem, maybe limp wristing would cause the stovepiping issue ?

Not limp wristing yet. I'm only putting snap caps for now. I might get to the range on Friday. The sove pipe could be me releasing the side too fast, but i doubt that.

I can run snap caps through my sr9 easy. Im not sure if anyone has issues racking full rounds throught their norc?

No such thing as releasing the slide too fast... That's how it should be done. Pull the slide all the way way to the rear and then let it go completely free to move forward on its own. Perhaps your slide needs to be broken in so that it moves smoother. Lots of guys polish the rails to smooth out the action.
