I was hoping to grab a NP29 but it appears the wait is longer than my urge to buy a new gun. This question is about the nickel finish on the NP30. Conflicting reports of nickel being too soft and prone to scratches leave me wondering if I should purchase the NP30N. Also I see an item listed on marstar as a nickel .45 but a web page error occurs. Would this maybe be a single stack nickel .45? How much wider are the grips on a double stack as opposed to a single on the NP30 and is the picture on the marstar site accurate as to the updated trigger and trigger guard on the new NP30Ns(directed at johnone) Any insight as to the nature of nickel coatings would be appreciated, including buying upgrade parts(do they come in nickel).
