Norinco 1911 & +p ammo

Norc pistols are made of tougher, stronger steel than their American counterparts. They use the fact that they make their own machines, tools, and cheap labour to produce decent pistols. If I was building a custom 1911, i'd start with a norinco frame and slide.

For what it's worth, I've been shooting 5.1gr 231 with a lee 255gr rnfp. It's a big boomin load and the pistol takes it like a champ.

I know they are decent guns but was not sure if they will handle +p power loads. My beretta will but is not suggested for regular use. Same for norks i guess.
My first 1911 is in the mail and was ammo shopping the other day and found some +p stuff so i figured i had better ask.

I have a Norinco 1911, set up for .45-08 Armco.
This is a Wildcat cartridge using modified 7.62X51 cases cut and reamed.
Firing a 200 grains SWC bullet at 1500 Fps.

I think you'll be OK with any factory .45 ACP +P load.
Norinco 1911 pistols are good, strong guns, IMHO.
