Hey just wondering if anyone has successfully replaced their 1911 Nork Sights....if so how did u do it and can u shoot a pic up on this thread...thanks guys

Also if you could let me know where you bought the sights from

Thanks

Try the usgi solution. Turn the back sight around. US 45's had more metal on the front of the back sight.

The Norcs use a standard rear sight dovetail. A Colt adjustable rear will fit.

The stake on Norc front sight is also standard Colt. It is the M70 (narrow tenon) sight.

the dovetailed front sight Norc is a non-sytandard size. It is smaller than usual. It can be milled out to take a standard dovetail front sight.

The Can Ammo Norcs (cheap ones) use stake on front sights. I milled dovetails in mine and changed them to a standard dovetail front sight.

An LPA adjustable rear sight on a Norc 1911. No smithing required.

A stake on sight replaced with a new cut standard dovetail and new sight. Norcs with dovetail front sight require the dovetail to be cut larger to accept standard sights.

The Norc dovetail has been cut wider to take this standard sight.
