G10 grips are readily available and tend to run between $85-$100 from what I have seen, I was looking at some in Al Simmons on the weekend.

Also have to ask, do you work for North Sylva ? Just curious about the source of this info.

They will be available after the 2nd week of Nov as a no cost upgrade when you purchase a Norinco 1911 as well the grips will retail separately for $40. These are made in China.
