Just wondering if anyone purchased a Norinco 1911 recently from Tenda or Al Flaherty? Just curious if they look exactly like the picture they have up on their websites? I know there is a lot of variation in the Norinco 1911...

i gotta say, that is one of the most hideous 1911's ive ever seen. but thats just my free opinion.

Hideous how?? It’s just a 1911...norc haters gonna hate...mags are prob garbage anyway..we all have our fave .45 aftermarket mags..I have two other 1911 with adj rear sights...like them..

Yep; got a Norc with a mag like that from another dealer, mag was crap. Shot fine with good mags.

Buy ANYTHING other than Norinco mags.
The only reason I still have mine is if I ever sell the gun (YA RIGHT sell a gun bwahahahahaha) I can include everything that came from the factory.

I have a silver 1911 9mm and it has a bit more of a satin finish on the gun but it looks nice and for the $$$ it's hard to beat.

I do like the look up close and it's a nice shooting gun.

That looks the same style as the NP27 commanders that I sold, in 45.
all the ones I tried worked ok. But there are better ones out there.
Was shooting the other night and there where 2 of them at the range , still using the original mag, works 100%

I have a satin chrome Nork 1911 with adjustable sight. I have the two Nork original mags and two nickle plated Remington mags. I love the slick finish on the remington mags, but for function; all four work fine, never mis-feed, and since I fixed the issue with the slide catch being too short, they lock open after the last shot. Neither did this before the repair.

I also have just gotten a used Nork NP29 with 5 Nork mags. It has been shot a lot by the previous owner, and all 5 mags work perfectly. Likewise with my NZ85 (4 factory mags); although my NP58 has some feeding problems with certain bullets (RNFP); the worst being X-Metal polymer 180gr. target (it is much better after I opened the feed ramp up, it still needs work... but this is not the mags, it is the feed ramp); when I fire TCFPs of the same weight, zero issues.

I shoot nothing but home loads.
