Im looking to buy a Norinco 1911a1, nickel plated.
Though I cant seem to find one thats not "double stacked".

I've been using a cz sp01 for 4 years now and im getting a little bored of it and the caliber.

I have a couple of questions:
- are double stack magazines unreliable? ( drops, dirt..etc)
- are double stack magazines for the 1911 common ? or is single stack more common?
- is the "a1" version the newer version that norinco is making now? ( so i shouldnt buy the non a1 ? )
- were can I find someone else other than marstar that sells norinco 1911a1's at decent prices ??

yeah I would stay in the government (single stack) models. ANd the only nickel plated ones you'll find now will be on the EE. There was only the limited run of them that marstar brought as far as I know. You could always buy one and get it hard chromed or nickel plated........it's only money after all ;)

so who sells norinco , other than armco and marstar and the sites at the top of CGN ?

again, are double stack mags easy to find ? are they reliable ?

I had the nickle NP-30. Top end will use standard parts. As for the mags, the norc ones worked fine. I asked back when I had it if it took Para mags, and the consensus seemed to be no from a few ppl who tried it.

Are you after a 1911 pistol with single stack magazine or a 2011 based pistol that takes double stack magazines?

are double stack magazines unreliable? ( drops, dirt..etc) They can be finnicky
- are double stack magazines for the 1911 common ? or is single stack more common?Single Stack way more common
- is the "a1" version the newer version that norinco is making now? ( so i shouldnt buy the non a1 ? )almost all 1911 are a1's now
- were can I find someone else other than marstar that sells norinco 1911a1's at decent prices well Marstar has the best prices pretty much everyone else buys off marstar to sell. Everyone reasonable is out right now as far as I have found. Anyone who has one wants a premium for them. When Armco gets some in you would be better off spending the extra $100 for one of his fine tuned beauties

one for sale on EE right now, if you want to pay $600 for a Chinese gun.
