Are the Norinco 1911's without front slide serrations coming back soon?

Everyone seems to have the sport model in stock. Not that is a bad thing.. I just prefer the cleaner look of the government model.

?

Yeah, me too. There's nothin' like the clean looks of a 'government model'....

On "front slide serrations" in general.....

In fact "front slide serrations" is one of the big reasons I haven't bought a Kimber or even an STI Spartan for that matter. Personally, I can't stand them. In fact I had one of the spankin' new Norc police models then sold it.... yup, didn't like the look of forward serrations..... what did Jeff Cooper say about such things? ...... "an ingenious solution to a non-existent problem".... :p

Currently, I only have one pistol that has front slide serrations and that is a Colt Series 70 slide that someone else modified 'back in the day'. It does fit nice on whatever 1911 frame I put it on and makes a nice shooter. I do have no use for "front slide serrations" however....

I'm no fan of front serrations, not by a long stretch. But that said, those are the nicest looking front serrations I have ever seen on a 1911. Despite the fact that they serve no legitimate useful purpose, they actually look good in the classic small-serration style...

I, too dislike front slide serrations. They are unnecessary, eat holsters, and are unsightly. I prefer the original style vertical, fine serrations best of all. Too many otherwise nice 1911s are spoiled by this particular un-feature.

The other objectionable features of the "Police" model Norincos, namely the full-length guide rod, extended slide stop, and extended magazine release, can at least be fixed fairly easily.

Yeah, the front serrations are useless on stock 1911s. I guess its a throwback to the days when compensated 1911s needed light 8 lb. recoil springs, and one can actually rack the slide with thumb and forefinger, from under the frame.

I think you guys made some mistake, that is not a front serrations, it was a finger nail file, to keep your finger nail clean away from lead residual:D. Some people just like shoot lead bullets...Just kidding. I did saw some high end gun don't have those front serrations and is much cleaner look.
