Norinco 223 1600 rds (SFRC)

I was just wondering if this ammo is safe for the HK 223 rifles (specifically the HK630 and the slb 2000). Thanks.

Shoots fine you will not be disappointed

Shoots fine, not the most accurate but good plinking ammo.

Brass is soft and probably won't take too many reloads.

I just heard that 5.56 and 223 are not exactly the same and that a rifle chambered in 223 is not necessarily compatible with 5.56...I made the mistake of Googling 223 vs 5.56 and found all matter of opinions and thought I'd better ask here.

So shooting 5.56 in a 223 is not recommended yet not proven to be catastrophic...I should've just stuck with a 30-30
