This isn't a Norinco bashing thread. This is my first failure outside of the occasional hard-primer in close to 8000 rounds.
Was shooting the other day and got a failure-to-fire. Tried to extract the round but couldnt, so I waited for everything to cool down and then extracted it with a pair of pliers.
The rim had ripped off and the primer ignited, but it didnt ignite the powder. Is it just coincidence that the rim failed, as I dont know how the primer would have enough power to damage the case?
