Hey CGNs,
Yesterday i was wandering in WholeSale sports Edmonton and i noticed that they are selling Norinco bulk .223 ammo in crates. My question: is it corrosive or noncorrosive ammunition? and is it worth buying for a varmint rifle or not.

Cheers!

It's non corrosive but shoots pretty dirty. It's more of a plinking ammo as its not known for its accuracy. Most guys who buy it run it in their semi autos for practice and cheap blasting. I'm calling wholesale in winnipeg right now to see if they have any! Haha

That's not bad. You're looking at 28 cents a round for reload able noncorrosive ammo. If you're looking for something to plink with, I'd go for it.

Stoo bad I just got my crate for canam or I'd be tempted

Last time I was in Wholesale Sports south store in Edmonton, I made them open a case of the ammo they had marked as "223" to check on it.

It was NOT .223 ammo. It was 5.56.

And wholesale sports here will now only price match with LOCAL stores, so they would not match any online stores, not even Wolverine (in the same prov)
