Norinco 226 Firing Pin

I have a friend who has a broken firing pin spring in a Norc 226. He says the pin is proprietary. Any idea where to source the part?

If you order a SIG p226 firing pin make sure it's the older stamp steel slide one, the newer stainless slides have a different length firing pin.

Some SIG parts will work in a Norc but not all, so fingers crossed.

My Norinco 226 has a broken firing pin too. It happened when I was doing some dry firing. Maybe not a coincident. I was trying to get hold of Norinco importer to one from Norinco. No luck yet. Still waiting for it.

I was told by a guy who looked at it nothing the firing pin isn't Sig combatible (even older Sig).
Anyone know a Norc source for parts?

Iam almost sure there was an answer to this in the links, listed in the NP22 info thread I've put together.. and it was same as Dsiwy said.
Either way it would be awesome if you post your findings.
