having ejected brass jamming with my arms mount. i've heard usgi plunger spring and extractor could cure this. any suggestions?

Hi. The empties are failing to eject due to the mount being too low, as I recall. There are several discussions about this on the forum. The sticky about scope mounts likely covers it.

If using a Norc/Poly rifle with Chinese springs still in the bolt you can trim a couple coils off the ejector and extractor springs. I believe they come a little too long from the factory. If so, you can trim 2 coils off the extractor and 3 coils from the ejector. You will have to remove the spring and measure their free length and compare that to the USGI spec for spring length.

You should try trimming your bolts extractor (2 coils on most) and ejector spring (3 coils on most).
Try this before buying new springs. Getting the bolt disassembly tool for the job is worth it. :HR:

I would advise against cutting the spring. I trimmed mine on my m305 and less than a mag in the extractor and spring departed. I lost the extractor in the weeds so I installed usgi spring and extractor. Two mags in spring and extractor once again depart. Installed usgi extractor and spring but with added filler (cut coat hanger) to make the same length as stock m305 spring (trimmed 2 coils)length. Works flawless once again.
