Norinco .308

I believe it is non corrosive. It is steel cased and not reloadable (berdan primed). If you are looking for good surplus talk to John Parsons of Custom Reloading. He is the range master at Poco. He sells Portugese surplus for about the same price. The Portugese stuff is plenty accurate, non-corrosive, brass cased but still berdan primed.

Noticed some rust beginnings on my Sav from firing the Norinco stuff. I do not think it is corrosive..Still the best Milsurp ammo around for .308.

It's not exactly 308...if you're referring to the green boxes in the wooden crates.
The cartridge cases are just a hair too wide to load smoothly in a bolt action that is designed for 308. I'm sure that in a semi auto it is fine though.

A bit tight on the Savage but fires well. so far no jams.

Works great in my M305. Just for fun I tried a few rounds in my Ruger M77. Man, that stuff is cheap, but it sure can shoot.

Winter,
Money well spent! I think I told you I p/u a 22 sears/winchester/cooey/savage/stevens model 64a/b/c hahahahaha

Anyways, the G17 needs nothing other than a .25 trigger job. You can borrow some of my polishing compound.
Regarding the norc ammo, yeah it is a bit tight, last time you were over, I think we were only shooting this norc stuff thru the remmy, so you probably din't have a comparison to the american stuff? I'm sure it'll be good for your m305/m14 clone though. You picked up the stuff from Levers for me, and we made a deal behind the coffee shop La Callabria on Commercial and 2nd Ave.

When do you get back from Stan?
