Norinco .45acp ammo, power factor??

Yes, but it's too much major I'm worried about. It arrived yesterday and now I have to take it to Summer Slam without firing a round of it.

One thing I can tell you：

This is original milspec so it feed much better than any of my handload.

The FMJ round nose makes huge difference.
 
I shoot a lot of it, its hot compared to remington, or bdx, and considerably dirtier,

I wont compete with it any more since the little bits of shavings it always makes sometimes results in a stoppage, and its a little hit and miss on the charge variation i think...

still gonna keep useing it for practice, handloads for comps
 
Hey everybody. I chrony the norinco in my non restricted kriss not to long ago. I know everybody was interested in the results for a pistol but for those wondering what it does in a longer barrel, this is what I got. I was using a chrony beta. 15 feet from barrel from 10 rounds.
Low: 940.3 fps
High: 969.3 fps
 
That puts it a little under military specs which I believe sat right around 850 fps give or take. Out of a 5" barrel, 230 ball should be in that 825-850 area. JMHO.
