I just recieved my order of 1000 rnds of Norinco .45ACP, was impressed with how fast it was delivered (ordered Saturday arrived in Calgary Friday). Good price, fast shipping, and as long as it goes boom when I pull the trigger that is all I ask for, as I just got my first 1911 (and first .45ACP handgun). I won't make it out to the range until next week, so I will post again after I put some down range.

Thanks Canadaammo!

I bought a case of the .45ACP. Its gone bang every time in 500 rounds except once. It's definitely dirtier than AE or UMC but all in all it does the job. For the price you can't go wrong.

Any accuracy testing on it yet? Someone run that stuff through a 5" 1911 and shoot it over a chronograph. That would be interesting to see.

Now that's really fast!

That means you ordered Today and it arrived Yesterday! :D

Polaris... It felt that fast... Ordered Saturday (April 21) arrived Friday (April 27). Hoping to get out Tuesday if weather cooperates, and will post my thoughts on it after. But as said previous, as long as it goes boom when I pull the trigger I'll be happy. I'm not involved in shooting competitions yet, so for practice ammo I'm happy with price and shipping time!

Accuracy of my Norinca ammo is as good as any store-bought .45 ammo I've tried.
I haven't gone through all 1000 rds yet, but have started to reload the brass.
No problems, so far.

Found the accuracy not as good as AE but only had a box so probably the shooter.

Reloaded fine with Berry 230gn RN. Will try out next week.

Fast shipping from CanadaAmmo on my order. Great communications as well. As for the ammo, works great - no problems whatsoever. In fact will likely buy some more.

So I pulled the trigger and it went bang 100 times out of 100. I wish I could comment on accuracy, but this was my first time out with a .45ACP so I wouldn't be the best person to review that. All I will say, is that it was consistantly down and left of centre, 90% hitting the 8 1/2 x 11 target, so it is probably the operator, not the tool causing the inaccuracy. Distance was ~10 yards.

Cleaning was not bad, a little dirtier than my 9mm (more powder = dirtier?), but nothing like cleaning after 100 rounds of 7.62x39 surplus ammo.

I wish I could comment more, but I will definately order more when I am close to running out. Can't beat the price and fast and free shipping!

Ordered mine this past Sunday; was at my door yesterday. As others have said, great communication from beginning to end. I'll report back after I try it this weekend.

What brand primers are you using and do you find the pocket a bit tight?

Didn't find any difference in pocket tightness btw Norc and AE.

Reloaded lead cast and Berry RN shot fine. Brass edge on Norc seems to get more banged up on first 100. Time will tell. AEs no prob. after 5 reloads, will see how long the Norcs last.

Ya think?;)
It is decent ammo for the $, no question about it. I'm about to start reloading it and am looking forward to seeing how it performs the second time around. I'm just relieved the mildewy stank from opening the crate has finally left my ammo locker :D
