Norinco 5.56 ammo smell.

The smell is from the paint used to seal the cans, the white powder is zinc oxide from the tins

Depends. Some are in 20 round boxes, some are just in wrapped in paper in little bundles of 40 (I think it was 40).

Smell of success if you ask me. I wish I had a few more cases of that stuff.

My AR15 M16A1 clone with 1:12 pencil barrel shoots that stuff (white box 95 lot 55gr FMJ) very well. I can pull 3" groups at 100 meters with the iron upper carry handle sights easily and consistently from the prone unsupported.
It's good quality ammo. I shot it side by side with American Eagle MFS 55gr FMJ and the Norinco actually did better than the AE every time.

ABout 500 rounds through it now, not a single FTF or FTE etc Flawless.

I love the stuff, sooooo cheap
