Corrosive or non corrosive i will still be buying a crate or 2 or 3
 
Thank you John for listening to us and showing some concern. Too many other retailers continue to argue that it's non-corrosive. It shows great customer relations on your part. I've always regarded you as top-notch.

A while back I got stung buying the crappy "non-corrosive" stuff from Frontier who may have gotten it from Lever.

You should put a few hundred rounds through one of your sks's and let it sit around for a week and check for rust, do the testing yourself, before asking customers to bring you hard proof. Only smart business sense. Lever arms doesn't care in vancouver about customers, we get that. Now the question is, do you care enough about the customers to test it before selling it as non corrosive, or have everyone sending you rusty sks's for exchange, because the product was corrosive?
 
I have the exact stuff at home. It IS corrosively primed. I tested 6 different headstamps about 3 weeks ago. The picture was taken roughly 30 minutes after primer detonation. This stuff was also sold as non-corrosive at CT in Leduc.
It is decent ammo to shoot - just need to clean ASAP.

We care enough about our customers to refuse to sell it until we have it confirmed that it is in fact non corrosive. Am I missing something or there something else we should be doing? Let me again repeat for the record "WE HAVE NOT SOLD ANY OF THIS AMMO AT ALL"

I suspect (this is just my opinion) that the importer (Not Wolverine Supplies) was sold this ammo as non corrosive, they maybe were not advised that the propellant was non corrosive but the primer was corrosive. I can assure you had I had any idea about this issue I would not have ordered any at all.>
 
Ah the glory of the internet ... I think some people are sore that you got their hopes up . Advertising product as what the supplier sold it as is not false advertising . Being told , (and taking) the caution of a random internet user/ stranger/ potential customer that this ammo might be corrosive as other similar lots have turned up on the market and then suspending sales and doing their own independent testing on that info speaks volumes to how much the shop actually cares about customer experience and satisfaction.

Almost a year ago, there was a ton of Norc non-corrosive available, 1200rd per unpainted wooden case, 20rd in red boxes, head stamped 94, $335 per case taxes included. Been to Lever and it's the green case with spam cans identical to the pic on the first page and they say it's non-corrosive and will not listen to you when you tell them it's corrosive.

Don't let the Lever Arms to take all the credit for it but give some to Things Military of Calgary, Capt Bill is more convincing & has better sales spill than Lever Arms.
 
I dealt with Wolverine Supplies many times & one thing I can assure is their Reputation and Policy "WE STAND BEHIND EVERYTHING WE SELL, CUSTOMER SATISFACTION GUARANTEED". That explains everything. When the man (John Hipwell) said he will conduct the test, why can't we just wait for his VERDICT!!!
 
My wife just came of the phone with the importer, he is going to look into this and report back to us early next week. Short term I am not even going to open a spam can as we may simply return this ammo if it is confirmed by our supplier as corrosive or alternatively we will need a price reduction if we plan to sell it as corrosive.

Yes we could conduct our own "nail test" but then we are gambling that the whole shipment is all the same as the test can. I will not risk that, would you?
