Norinco 7.62x39 Corrosive?

Does anyone know if the green crate- spam can Norinco 7.62x39 is Corrosive? Its 90's era, and sold as non corrosive in CDN Tire. I know some boxed Norc 7.62 X 39 is sold as non corrosive from ammo source etc.

I would highly suggest thay this crated "non corrosive" ammo is more then likely corrosive.

You want non corrosive then stick to 20 round boxes packaged in the 1000-1200 round boxes from sfrc or canammo

Probably corrosive. All the stuff packaged like that which I have tried (only two or three cases thus far) has been corrosive.

I bought the same stuff fitting that description elsewhere and it turned out to be corrosive. However, mine was made in the 70's. Still, I wouldn't buy it unless you're willing to except that it might be corrosive.

I see reports of both. However 90's is pretty late in production to still be corrosive as well as it being advertised as non corrosive.

^^No worries, I tried it this last summer. Very easy way to determine if ammo is corrosive or not.
