Norinco 7.62x39

I have some stuff that I thought was Chinese but it has Saudi Arabia spray painted on it. What is that all about?

Still good ammo. Over a year ago. Had a 3for 2 price deal. I got three crates, myself. I would buy that deal again in a minute, if CanAm could get it in for us, that is.

Seems Odd that the Chinese knew it was for the ministry of the interior. It's also seems to be with different paint.

Anyways, it's great stuff. Thanks for bringing it in!

Because it's not like the Chinese to waste time and money... That's why it's odd.
Seems more like somebody is trying to hide something. It just doesn't add up
Sorry, I do not understand

They held on to millions of rds after the US bailed in 94 (the stuff we're selling now), all of that ammo was marked for the US customer, too. So what is so confusing about this?

It's not confusing. It doesn't make sense that the Chinese painted "ministry of interior" Saudi Arabia on the cans. It's pretty simple actually. Why would they waste time doing that?
They paint their customers name on the side for many customers.
When I was at the factory, they were preparing a shipment for Bangledesh and one for Sudan - both with the same type of painted markings.

How would they know Saudi was buying it for the ministry of the interior?
Beciause they buy all the ammo for Saudi. It is the dept that buys for the government.

Why did they use different paint to mark Saudi stuff? Why would saudi want it in english and not arabic? They wouldn't... So unless this ammo came from another source it doesn't add up.
Different paint? Ammo shipped internationally always is marked in English (see above)

It has happened before where people managed to dupe the us government into buying Chinese ammo. I think they even stenciled another country on the boxes... I'm thinking you've bought some of this stuff.
You clearly know nothing about this business my friend.

Your math dos not add up. The ex-albanian ammo sold by Efraim was made in the 60s. Our Saudi-marked ammo was made in 2005.

BTW, the ex-Albanian Chinese ammo mentioned above has been widely sold in Canada in both x39 and x54R, just not by us. (correction, we did sell some of the 54r)

Either way, who cares?

totally different ammo. even if it wasn't would it matter? Ours was made in 2005 for Saudi, all very clearly indicated by looking at the packaging and head stamp

Frankly, I am not even sure what your issue/concern is. Either way, that ammo sold out years ago.

You seem to be answering the questions pretty fast.

Just a little googling here. According to wiki, Saudi Arabia doesn't even use firearms in 7.62x39.

Again, it doesn't add up.
