Norinco 780 Homeland Security Range Report

I don't for the life of me know why people buy these crappy norc shotguns then spend good money after bad trying to turn them into 870's.... trigger groups, mag tubes etc.... just go get a good lightly used 870 and be done with it and have a gun that won't fall apart on you and fail to eject shells.....

There's more to guns than just shooting; some people also like reloading/casting bullets, others like modding junk guns(AKA polishing turds)....

I originally bought my 780 as a beater; I planned to detonate it when it started dying. I've since found a more dependable beater and the 780 has been sold off.

780

Has any one shot slugs in theirs.Mine won't shoot more than 1 then it jams and you pretty much need to take it apart to unjam it. It is now a cracker shell gun only.

stay safe

Do you really want a firearm that may let you down when you need it most?.... don't get me wrong, I am all for playing.... but I still put dependability as character one in all situations....

I f#$%ing hate people who tactifool shoot with their stupid shotguns at are range! They blow big holes into the target boards then there is nowhere to tack your targets up for rifle shooting. Pisses me right off it does. That’s not even the worst part because you can always remove the old board and replace it with a new on in a few minutes. The worst part is the idiots that tactifool shoot with their stupid shotguns who put their targets up on the post of the target boards. Then the post gets turned into shredded wheat and then the whole thing needs to be replaced. It doesn't stop there either. Once they've f#$%ed the 25meter target board, they move on to the 50meter target board. We have even cut holes into the target boards so these stupid people would tack their shotgun “training” targets up over the holes so that they don’t wreck the rest of the target board but they still don’t use it! Why don't they practice something useful like throwing clay birds at chest height to simulate someone running away or something rather than pissing off rifle/handgun shooters?

Because .30 caliber and .45 caliber holes are easier on plywood then 7.5 shot loads.....

Some people get a little too wound up. Go buy yourself a shotgun and blast some stuff. You'll end up replacing your sissy guns after that soon enough.....

Got mine at sfrc, First time bringing it to the range. My buddy takes it without me knowing, overloads it with more shells then it can hold, and breaks it after three shots. Bent to s**t, and wont even #### anymore. Now i have a useless 100 dollar piece of metal sitting in my locker, and a buddy with a black eye.

hilarious

Fudd fudd fudd fudd. Fudd fudd fudd fudd.

Fudd.

Update: The oil in the trigger group kept on gumming up on me. I think it has something to do with the crap oil I'm using (Hoppes #9) and the fact that it hasn't been used since last November. I have an ad up in the EE if anyone is interested in this- want to move onto different firearms projects, without having to worry about the Norinco.
