Ok guys I thought I'd start a thread for people who own this shotgun. We can share where we got accessories for them, pics and ideas.

I purchased one before I left the country and when I get back in a few months, I'm going to start tacticooling it out.

Which one did you get?
The Norinco 870 clone (pictured) will take pretty much any accessory designed for the 870.
The Norinco 780 Homeland Security is a different animal. Some things are the same, some are different. Trigger assembly pins are in the same place as the 870, the receiver however is longer in the back.
Not too sure what else is different.

Got one coming in the mail this week. I've used my Rem870 for nearly 20 years so it should be an interesting comparison.

I have a standard 870 clone / HP9 the bead will relocate itself, Mine did shooting skeet, it was tehre and then it was gone. You'll need to replace that some day.

Other then that I cut 3/4" off the butt and re attached and sanded the but pad. Thats all I've done with mine.

I got the homeland security one

my homeland security blew up yesterday, less than 100 shots of 2 3/4 target load

Now Im in the process of (hopefully) getting a new slide for it, as thats the part that blew into three chunks (and a fracture that could easily be a fourth)

good times!

I picked up a homeland security a week ago and got out to the range for the first time this weekend. Three shots and the slide locked soild, brought it back to the dealer who said he would have a look. A week later he called and offered a refund becasue that was the last of his stock.:(

LOL! A knock off gun made in China that blew up....I'm shocked.:nest::D

NOOO!!!!!! Not another malfunctioning Chinease firearm? Wow......how could this be? Good luck with your Chinease firearms fellas.

my Norc handguns have worked flawlessly with hundreds of rounds through them, and my Dominion Arms backpacker is fantastic..... the Homeland Security 780 though.... Im not sure.

Mine did jam about 4 shots before the slide blew out though, which I pulled the barrel off, and took the spent shell out, and after putting it back together everything seemed fine again (at this point there wernt chunks of pot metal clanking around the chamber, and the cycle was smooth and normal)

anyway, I'll still buy chicom stuff, I wont spend money to replace this 780 with another 780 though, but if I can repair it for cheap, I will.

I have a DA Mag fed Grizzly with a 15" barrel. It's basically the same shotgun.

my buddy has one of them, and its worked flawlessly (Ive only seen him put about 400 rounds through it so far) The slide in the DA's looks better quality metal than what was in the Norc 780 though (or at least my 780)

I have about 2000 rds through mine with no problems. I don't shoot it much tho, the main thing I use it for is camping. I also have got a 28" barrel for it for turkey hunting.

Adding anything stock wise to the 780 can be a PITA. The receiver is longer in the ass, so you'll have a gap  . I tried a side saddle. It fit (the pin locations are the same) but the pump grip hit the saddle, resulting in a short stroke  . Being really frustrated at this point, I slid a sling plate in between the stock and receiver and called it a day. Oooohhhh....so tacticool :jerkit: .
Like I said, I'm not too sure what else would fit this thing reliably without a ton of fitting and several Dremel bits.
It's my beater gun. It raises a few eyebrows when I pull it out and it works (re: it hasn't blown up....yet).
