Any rifle, shotgun or carbine stock of the type known as the "bull-pup" design, being a stock that, when combined with a firearm, reduces the overall length of the firearm such that a substantial part of the reloading action or the magazine-well is located behind the trigger of the firearm when it is held in the normal firing position."

You would not be able to import it.and this would be

Well, before we collectively cut jpcbird off at the knees, he does have a good trader rating here and appears to be new to posting...
 
I've got nothing against him, he is just a bit naive and still thinks the CFC knows what they are talking about.

We're just taking the piss out of him, so to speak. It's all in good fun. Hopefully he learned something today.

Bullpup rifles are not prohibited. After market stocks that convert a rifle to bullpup configuration are. If you had read that letter you would see it clearly says "bullpup stocks" not bullpup firearms.

They told you that a bullpup STOCK, as described, is prohibited. Not that all bullpup firearms are.
Let us rejoice by aquiring bullpup design firearms. :dancingbanana:

that would be just my luck, my radioactive mutated splooge would enlarge my womens ovaries to the size of cantalopes, we'd have triplets, with mutated vocal cords to drive me crazy all night long when I,m downstairs in the basement hiding in my gun room.

He seems to be a new guy originally attracted to the free exchange forum. I would read, read, read before I start spouting 'knowledge' onto the vast majority of old hands who have been here forever and gone through the same arguments that he has dug up.

There are only two topics stickied into the 'pet peeves' thread at the very, very top of this particular forum and one of them has to deal with - you guessed it - bullpup firearms.

I read through all the threads for 4 hours a day, 6 days straight before I asked a question to be sure that it was one worthy to be asked. Statements should be treated the same way. There are many here who live in the realm of the aforementioned topic and have researched thouroughly their specific interest. These people have personal property at stake rather than some desk jockey skimming through the regs. to come up with short answers to send to the uninitiated.

Wow! My first rant.
 
If nothing else this thread has contributed 2 real gems to our culture
1. I want to dump radioactive waste all over your testicles so you can't reproduce.
2. I want children like I want a semi-auto ban
I go to work for one day and all of the good stuff happens.

'sides I think we'll see the Tavor first.
