Norinco ammo corrosion test results

In theory should help reduce the salt by firing NC but not enough to avoid proper cleaning.
This is posted occasionally. I am unaware if anyone has actually tested it, but I fail to see how it's possible. Maybe I'm dumb, and I was never great at science, but I do not see how non-corrosive ammo would magically erase the salts that are deposited in your rifle from corrosive ammo. If you want to try it out and potentially sacrifice your rifle, I'm sure there are a fair amount of people here, myself included, who would like a report of your test.

However, no one expects you do to this to your gun. In my opinion, I wouldn't trust this theory at all.

I usually shoot MFS 7.62X39. Then I bought a crate of the Norinco from CanAm b/c of the excellent price.
Both non-corrosive, without a doubt...and I don't see any diff in fouling.
Excellent ammo IMO.

good to know $800+ is a little out of my price range. What about the American Eagle cans you had on for a bit are you able to get any more of those?
