I loved their 9mm, 7.62X25mm, and 7.62X39mm. Not too much of a fan of their .223 though. For some reason the bullets occassionally got pushed back into the casing when used in my AR.

Acceptable quality & dirt cheap at the time.

I had some of the green box 7.62x39 stuff.
It shot OK, but it did have a rather oddly strong ammonia smell to it.

I've shot Norinco .223 and 45acp. The 45 was good and quite cheap, brass was reloadable & good value all around. The 223 however was not a good value. Primers fell out and jammed my AR, brass is too soft to reload etc.

Ammonia doesn't mean "odd"
Ammonia smell = old old powder that started to fall apart into ingredients, sometimes humidity can speed up the process. Get it into a warm dry place and keep it there, otherwise it will go bad, e.g. old powder = ammonia + humidity = acid = green cases, dead ammo, ####ty feeling about it.

Well first you gotta find it. There hasn't been any imported for a while IIRC.

I think Marstar is bringing some in but I'm not sure.

I know where there is a case of 223 and 3 cases of 7.62x39 non corrosive soft point. Not sure what it is worth, anyone know?

I have shot thousands of the .223 without ever a problem. It was loaded quite hot. Still have a couple of thousand left. The 7.62x39 is great. Wish I had bought 10-12 cases back when it was around and cheap.

I have a bunch of the silver box 7.62x39 , but I haven't shot it yet , saving it ! It is really hard to find , I found it at a surplus store and according to the guy that was the "last of it" haha , but this guy says that about everything!
